MCLAX Incorporated is a volunteer-run non profit 501(c)(3) organization aimed at growing the sport of lacrosse in Manatee County. The primary operational focus of MCLAX is to support Lakewood Ranch High School Boys and Girls Lacrosse. Please visit our Organization page to learn mer.

The primary operational focus of MCLAX is to fund the Lakewood Ranch High School Boys and Girls Lacrosse programs. As a means of strengthening lacrosse in the Lakewood Ranch community, MCLAX has contributed to youth programs and feeder schools of LRHS in the past and is always looking for opportunities to grow the sport and better our athletes. These contributions are board-approved on a case-by-case basis. MCLAX does not contribute funds or support to any other high school lacrosse program currently, as most rely on their own booster/support clubs.

Lakewood Ranch High School was one of two Manatee County School District public schools to first establish a varsity lacrosse program during the 2017-2018 school year. To supplement program costs, a volunteer association was formed by local parents and named MCLAX Incorporated with a goal of bringing lacrosse to multiple schools in the district. As other booster clubs were formed to support their respective teams, MCLAX remained committed to it’s original mission of growing Lakewood Ranch High School Lacrosse.

There are multiple ways to help! From donations of financial gifts, time and resources – our program depends on volunteers and hard work. We are always looking for members to serve on the MCLAX Board, committee chairs to organize and lead fundraising and team-building events, or parents will to lend a hand and help take tickets at home games. Please see our Volunteer tab for more information on how you can assist.

Yes, parents are allowed AND ENCOURAGED to attend general meetings. We invite you to hear about and discuss upcoming events and initiatives and even vote as members-in-good-standing. Board only meetings will be held for the purposes of board administration and will not be open to general members/parents. For a schedule of upcoming meetings, please visit the Calendar.

Absolutely! We love our Senior Mustangs and want to make sure they, and their families, have a memorable experience in their last year playing at The Ranch. MCLAX funds senior banners to be displayed all season long at our field and holds a special Senior Night towards the end of our regular season. Traditionally, organizing and executing of Senior Night has been led by our Junior parents, but all are welcome to lend a hand to give our seniors the recognition they deserve.

Please visit our Fan Shop, presented by Second Slide, for lacrosse specific gear. Players will also receive team-specific clothing as a part of their participation fee package.
