Participation Fee Refund Program – Coming for the 2026–2027 Season
We are excited to announce a new Participation Fee Refund Program that MCLAX plans to pilot during the 2026–2027 lacrosse season.
Our goal is simple: help families offset some of the costs associated with the lacrosse season while creating additional opportunities for everyone in our MCLAX family to get involved and support the program.
Through this new initiative, participating families will have opportunities to earn back up to 100% of their player’s mandatory participation fee through eligible fundraising, volunteer, and sponsorship activities.

The program is being designed to reward families and players who help contribute to the success of MCLAX and Lakewood Ranch High School Lacrosse. Opportunities may include:
- Leading or organizing fundraising events
- Volunteering at approved MCLAX fundraising activities
- Helping connect MCLAX with qualifying community sponsors
Eligible participation will generate credits toward the player’s participation fee, with the potential to earn a partial or full refund, up to 100% of the fee paid.
This program is about more than simply reducing costs. Fundraising, sponsorships, and volunteer support allow MCLAX to provide resources for both the boys and girls lacrosse programs while helping distribute the work required to make each season successful across our entire lacrosse community.
Whether you can organize an event, volunteer a few hours, introduce us to a potential sponsor, or simply lend a hand when an opportunity becomes available, your involvement can make a difference — both for your family and for the program as a whole.
